Low Seller Risk: There is “no charge” to the seller to list an auction, however the seller will owe a commission if the buyer comes from our auction or marketing efforts. However we are only paid if an aircraft on our site successfully sells. Our approach allows our sellers to set a published reserve price but also it gives them the flexibility to accept offers at any point during the process.
Seller Protection: The identity of the seller is only provided to the winning bidder or after an acceptable offer has been received. We help provide brokerage services during the entire transaction to eliminate constant interruptions that come with listing sites. Also all sales are subject to a final inspection and a signed End User Agreement. This keeps full transparency on the end user of the aircraft.
Minimized Expenses: We sell the aircraft online and it is sold “as is, where is”. This cuts down on unnecessary moving expenses as often seen with live auctions. We prearrange inspection times and all expenses are the responsibility of the buyer.
Fast and Efficient: Our site contains ongoing used helicopter and business jet sales listings and monthly we hold an online auction. Most auctions run for 30 days and during that time, we coordinate any inspections and questions between the bidders and seller. Once a winner is declared and the seller accepts their bid, funds are usually received into escrow with 48 – 72 hours.
Innovative Auction Format Makes You More Money: The goal when selling an aircraft is to create a bidding war. A situation where 2 parties both want the same aircraft and are willing to outbid each other to get it. That is EXACTLY what our online auction format is designed to do. In fact, any bid placed in the last 5 minutes of our auction, extends the auction for an additional 15 minutes. This keeps the bidding frenzy alive.
Our used aircraft sales program is a hybrid between an online auction and an online listing. The auction format allows us to create an event, to attract and identify prospective buyers for our advertised aircraft for sale. During the auction process, the helicopter or business jet remains “as is, where is”. (Unlike a traditional auction, the final bid is not binding unless the Seller formally agrees to the offer AND the buyer conducts a successful onsite inspection.)
Once a satisfactory bid is submitted and the auction ends, a 1% refundable deposit is collected from the buyer and submitted to escrow. One of our auction coordinators will then contact you to arrange the onsite inspection. Assuming that everything is to both parties satisfaction, the bid is finalized and the sale goes to closing.
